I feel like we throw it into company names to make them more appealing; like it reassures audiences. ‘Don’t worry, it won’t be too weird, ‘ballet’ was in the title.’ I’m not complaining because I’m a huge fan of contemporary ballet, but I’m thinking that the term has become less descriptive.
